Welcome to National RTAP in the Cloud. We are very excited to have you join our community. This document covers some of the basic functionality in ProcurementPRO.

What is the Cloud

The Wikipedia Definition of Cloud Computing is:

Cloud computing describes computation, software, data access, and storage services that do not require end-user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services.

What this means for National RTAP… is that we will develop, support and host the web applications that will help your organization take advantage of 21st century technology.

Create your User Account in the Cloud

In order to access the Cloud, you need to create a user account in the Cloud portal. The following steps will help you accomplish this task:

1.    Go to www.NationalRTAP.org

2.    Click on the “Cloud Sign Up” link in the “Login ” section (bottom, below the National RTAP 888 number in the top right of the homepage).

3.    Complete the “Personal Information” section and click the “Proceed” button.

4.    Complete the “Your Organization’s Information” and then click Finish.

5.    You will now be at the “Homepage” of the Cloud.

6.    You will receive an email with a copy of your login credentials. Be sure to save this for future reference.

Login to the Cloud

1. Go to www.NationalRTAP.org

2. Click on the “Cloud Sign Up” link in the “Login ” section (bottom, below the National RTAP 888 number in the top right of the homepage).

3. Enter the Username and Password you created when you set-up your Cloud account.

4. Click the "Login" button.

5. You are now logged into the Cloud and on the Homepage, where you can select the web app you would like to access.

Forgot Password to the Cloud

1. Go to www.NationalRTAP.org

2. In the upper right of the homepage you will see a button “Cloud Sign Up and Login. Click “Login”.

3. At the bottom you will see “Forgot Password”, click this link.

4. You will be directed to a page that will ask you for the email address that you used when you created your account. Enter the email address and the system will send you the Username and Password you used when you created your account.

Dashboard Overview

The “Dashboard” is the homepage for the web app that you are using. Each dashboard page has its own set of features specific to that particular web app.

Along the top banner you will see “My Account”, “Support Center”, “National RTAP” and “Logout”.

Along the left side of the dashboard you will see a list of the features you will have access to:  Dashboard, Create a Project, and Archived Project.

Along the top (below the banner) you will see the Main Features of the ProcurementPRO web app:  Create a Project, Archived Projects, Community (access to all the web app forums) and “Forum (direct access to the ProcurementPRO Forum).

Along the right side of the Dashboard you will have access to the various support options.

Starting at the top you will notice “Quick Tips” (page-sensitive tips to help you navigate the page), “Help Video” (page-sensitive video to help you navigate the page), “Related Links” ( a list of hyperlinks to websites that will help you with procurement related questions), “Live Chat Online” (connects you with a National RTAP Specialist who can help you navigate the Cloud environment), and “Support” (Support Hours, Support Email and Link to National RTAP public website).

Create a New Project

Creating a new project is easy…

1. Click on the “Create a New Project” link in “Left Menu” or the button in the “Main Menu”.

2. Select from the ProcurementPRO or QuickPRO option. The QuickPRO option is a quick way of seeing on the screen the required clauses and certifications based on the data you input.  It also does not save the project or allow you to print the project information, clauses or certifications.

3. Once you complete the steps in the wizard you are ready to print or email the project documentation.

Archived Project

The Archived Project feature allows you to remove projects from the Dashboard without deleting them from the Cloud.

1. Click the check box next to the project you want to archive.

2. Click the “Archive Selected projects” button at the bottom of “Your Projects” list.

3. You can now click the “Archived Projects” button in the Main Feature list to access all your Archived Projects.

 

Un-Archive a Project

1. Click the “Archived Projects” button in the Main Feature section.

2. You will see a list of all Archived projects.

3. Select the check box next to the Archived project and click the “Restore Archived Projects” button.

4. Click the “Dashboard” link in the Left Navigation; you will see that your Archived project is now back in “Your Projects” list.

Forums

Forums is a place where you can connect with other procurement specialists throughout the United States. You can also search, post answers to questions and post questions.

1. Click the “Forums” button in the Main Feature section.

2. You are now at the ProcurementPRO “Forums” section of the Cloud Support Center.

3. You can select a topic to view or create a new post.

4. You can search by key words or author.

Support Center

The Support Center is a place where you can connect with other web app users in the Cloud. You will have access to the various forums for each web app. You can connect and share with other Cloud users throughout the United States.

1. Click the “Support Center” button in the Main Feature section.

2. You are now at the “Support Center” main home page. You will see a list of all the active forums for the Cloud.

3. Click on any Forum to go into the topic and post area.

4. You can select a topic to view or create a new post.

5. You can search by key words or author.

Support Options

We offer technical support and subject-based support (i.e., procurement-related questions) through email, live chat, page-sensitive help, and the forums.

· Email Support – Support@NationalRTAP.org

· Live Chat – (Right Navigation on Dashboard) Monday – Friday 9:00am -5:00pm EST.

· Page-Sensitive Help – Quick Tips and Video-based.

· Forums & Support Center – A Specialist will reply within 24 hours (during normal working hours).
